Photography Midterms
"Best Photo Ever!"
1) Angsty Teens
2) I took this photo in our backyard on the stairs leading to the basement.
3) This photo follows leading lines because of the stairs, symmetry because it you cut the photo in half, it would be the same on the other side, patterns because of the capri jeans and the striped sweaters, and backgrounds because it is simple but pretty.
1) Mint
2) I took this photo on our patio in the backyard with my mom and my sisters plant, Mint.
3) This photo follows Rule of Thirds because the left side has the hands and plant taking up 2/3 leaving the last 1/3 empty, color because the green plant and the brown pot look good with the blank wall and hands, symmetry because this photo is asymmetrical, and backgrounds because the main focus (hands and plants) look good against the blank wall.
4) Edits: I took out a little bit of light on the right side.
1) Sparkling Ombre
2) I took this photo in my kitchen. I made the last sparkling water dark and the front on not quite as dark but it still has some color.
3) This photo follows Rule of Thirds because the left side is empty, color because the pink looks good with the ivory wall and grayish counter-top, leading lines because the glasses line up leading your eyes to the last glass, patterns because the color of the water gradually get darker (or lighter), and backgrounds because the glasses look good against the ivory wall and granite counter-top.
